At Chick-fil-A, the role of a back of house team member is more than a job; its an opportunity. In addition to working directly for an independent owner/operator, back of house team members gain a life experience that goes far beyond serving a great product in a friendly environment. They are responsible for providing an exceptional dining experience for everyone who serves each day and ensuring that all guests receive the Chick-fil-A exclusive service and food.
Type of position: Full-time and part-time. Our benefits include: a fun work environment where you can positively influence others, flexible schedule (and closed on Sundays), learning from a seasoned operator and restaurant leaders, intentional growth and development to help you reach your career goals, scholarship opportunities, competitive salary. Responsibilities of back of house team members include: preparing, cooking, assembling, and presenting food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards; knowing tasks for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembly, prep, and food preparation; storing kitchen inventory as needed; keeping the kitchen tidy, clean, and orderly at all times; staying up to date with new products launched by Chick-fil-A; working safely around the kitchen team and reporting any maintenance issues to leadership; maintaining personal knowledge by completing internal training and staying updated on any changes; completing all opening or closing tasks as assigned; complying with Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times; other assigned tasks.
Qualifications and requirements: consistent and reliable, cheerful and positive attitude, loves to serve and help others, customer service oriented, strong interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, able to multitask, able to work independently and in a team environment, willing and able to work flexible hours, able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, able to stand for long periods of time.
