We've earned loyal fans (and a few awards!) for our crispy Frico crusts, delicious burgers, and welcoming neighborhood vibe.As a Prep Cook, you'll play a key role in setting the kitchen up for success. From dough production to daily prep, you'll ensure our ingredients are handled with care, consistency, and attention to detail. Your work behind the scenes keeps service running smoothly and our standards high.What You'll Do:Prepare specific food items according to Emmy Squared recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracyPortion and package dough for storage and future useSet up and maintain assigned kitchen workstationsMaintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelinesFollow safe food handling procedures at all timesStore food properly and safely, labeling and dating all itemsUse facility supplies and equipment responsibly to minimize waste and lossKeep work areas neat and clean; maintain and clean equipment used in food preparationReport necessary equipment repairs and maintenance to managementSupport the back-of-house team with additional duties as assignedWhat You Bring:Minimum 1 year experience as a prep cook in a full-service restaurant (previous dough experience strongly preferred)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize responsibilities effectivelyCalm, professional demeanor under pressureAbility to produce high volumes of work while maintaining Emmy Squared quality standardsStrong attention to food safety and sanitation practicesFlexible availability, including weekends and holidaysAbility to lift/carry up to 35 lbs., push/pull up to 75 lbs.Ability to stand/walk for extended periods with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reachingComfort using culinary tools and commercial kitchen equipmentWhy You'll Love It Here:Competitive hourly payFlexible schedulingOpportunities to grow with a fun, expanding brandSupportive team culture built on kindness and hustleHealth benefits for full-time team membersBring the "Emmergy" and your passion for precision, prep, and teamwork.
