Primary job role:

• Conducts water extraction and mold remediation tasks
  
• Works both independently and as part of a team, as required by the project
• Communicates clearly and effectively with co-workers and customers
• Reads and follows directions given by supervisors or team leader
• Solves problems that may arise during the course of the job
• Sets up and takes down drying equipment
  
• Ensures that all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to pass a background check.
• A minimum of 1 year of restoration or construction experience is required.
• Willingness to work on an afterhours/on-call/ rotation is expected.
• Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 years is mandatory.

Preferred Training:

• IICRC certifications – WRT – ASD – ARMT preferred, but not required
• 2 years’ experience as lead restoration tech
• Xactimate experience preferred
  

The work environment is subject to changes in temperature and weather conditions and may involve loud noises and hazardous areas such as confined crawl spaces and attics. Hazards encountered may include wastewater, mold, soot, smoke, and bio-hazard sites. Physical demands of the job require the ability to bend, stoop, crawl, and move heavy equipment and items while working in areas with loud noises and hazardous conditions.
