RN - Oncology Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical Surgical Oncology License: Active RN License Certifications: BLSChemo (ONS/ONCC) preferred Must-Have: Ability to float as neededExperience with EPIC charting system preferred Description:We are seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Medical Surgical Oncology.The position requires a commitment to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients in a 30-bed unit.Daily patient ratios are expected to be within 5 to 6 during day shifts and up to 6 during night shifts.The nurse will be involved in chemotherapy administration, patient education, and management of complex oncology cases.Required skills include administering medications, managing ports, and handling acute and chronic oncological conditions.Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be able to work in an interdisciplinary team.Floating to similar units may be necessary to meet facility needs.Weekend rotation is required every third weekend, subject to change based on unit needs.The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background with a focus on patient-centered care in the oncology setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet Health
