JOB DETAILS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Full-Time | Sumter Health & Rehabilitation | York, AL Current CNA Certification Required Competitive Pay Based on Experience Shift Differentials Available Bring Your Compassion to Sumter Sumter Health & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team. As a CNA, you'll work directly with residents each day, assisting with personal care and daily activities while helping them maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. CNA Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility. Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team. Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, meals, and hydration. Answer call lights and respond to resident needs promptly. Maintain resident comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety. Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and fellow caregivers. Follow infection prevention, safety, and resident care procedures. Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification – REQUIRED. Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, assisted living, or other healthcare experience preferred but not required. Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality resident care.
