Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Kansas. This position involves providing specialized care in the maternity unit, focusing on high-risk and postpartum patients. The RN will support labor and delivery processes, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care, ensuring compliance with unit policies and standards. The role requires a dedicated and compassionate professional capable of working night shifts on a 12-hour schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, a minimum of 1 year of current Labor & Delivery RN experience, BLS certification, AWHONN certification, and NRP certification
• Preferred Qualifications: Obstetric (OB), medical-surgical (med-surg), and gynecology (GYN) experience are highly desirable
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include caring for post-operative gynecological surgeries, high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring (non-stress tests), and postpartum patient care. The candidate should possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for staying busy in a fast-paced environment. The unit utilizes Meditech electronic medical records and is equipped with Welch Allen vital sign machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring. Staff are experienced and supportive, fostering a collaborative environment.
