Summary As a School Teacher at Tiny Town Childcare & Learning Center, you will be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of our young learners. This role is vital in delivering high-quality instruction and support, ensuring each child's developmental needs are met in a safe and stimulating environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, social skills, and physical development. Safely drive the bus on all daily school routes and provide transportation for field trips, special events, and off-site activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment for all students. Provide individualized support to children with special needed or learning challenges. Engage children in hands-on activities that stimulate curiosity and foster a love for learning. Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities. Create a safe, welcoming atmosphere that encourages exploration and creativity. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience at the center. Qualifications High School Diploma 21 years or Older Valid Driver's License and a Clean Driving Record To qualify for the higher pay tier, employees must hold one of the following: School-Age Endorsement, Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Excellent behavior management skills to maintain a conducive learning environment. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with parents, staff, and students. Passion for nurturing children's growth and fostering their love for learning.
