R&D Lab Specialist

Our client, a top personal care manufacturing company is looking for a R&D Lab Specialist in Reynoldsburg! The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in scientific or engineering field, with experience in QA, R&D or laboratory environments.

Role Overview

Contract Role: 3 months

Pay: $24.13/hr on W2

Responsibilities

• Supports with daily tasks and various ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.
• Handles the complete sample lifecycle, including receipt, filling and assembly, testing, evaluation at required timepoints, and final retention or storage.
• Tests and evaluates beauty and home fragrance products to check compliance with performance, packaging, and specifications standards, while meticulously tracking and documenting results.
• Collaborates and communicates across R&D, QA, and Package Engineering teams regarding testing observations and statuses.
• Manages the shipping of samples to vendors and cross-functional partners, as well as the organization and shipping of international bulk standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field, or relevant work experience in QA, R&D, manufacturing, or laboratory environments.
• Strong attention to detail, strict adherence to instructions and standard operating procedures, and solid organizational skills.
• Requires flexibility to handle shifting priorities along with good written and oral communication skills.
• Involves working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, alongside specific experience with Excel and SAP.
• Highlights a collaborative team-player attitude suited for a dynamic work setting.
