Associate Attorney

We are seeking an Associate Attorney for full-time employment in Bettendorf, Iowa, with flexibility for some remote work. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, conducting research, negotiating, and handling labor and employment law matters as part of the insurance defense services offered by the firm. The ideal candidate would have 3 to 5 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal support to clients and assist attorneys
- Maintain client relationships
- Prepare legal reports and documents
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Legal Advice and Research
- Ability to negotiate effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar in Illinois
- Experience in insurance defense, with emphasis in workers' compensation, is a plus
