Multimodality Radiology Technologist PRN

Responsibilities Perform all radiological procedures as designated in the department policy for radiology technologist. Routinely function in other areas of the imaging department as needed. Maintain additional registries and continuing education hours when applicable. Make themselves available to perform duties as required by the area supervisor. Deliver the highest possible quality care to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients according to their physical needs and limitations and understand population-specific needs. Perform imaging in multiple areas (diagnostic, OR, fluoroscopy, etc.). Maintain a working knowledge of all equipment and upgrades. Remain current on department schedule changes and protocol changes. Communicate schedule with supervisors in both base and receiving departments. Ensure both department supervisors are aware of planned time off (PTO). When on call, be available to be on site within 30 minutes of the call out. Report any problems or unusual situations to the supervisor in a timely manner. Report any equipment malfunctions and place service calls as needed. Communicate effectively with patients in an age-appropriate manner and appropriately involve significant others. Qualifications Associate Degree (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer, or (ARRT-R) Radiography must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Benefits Comprehensive benefits for medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health and telemedicine services.
