Registered Nurse Cath LAB

Cath Lab RNCath Lab functions independently as a member of our team of Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Interventional Cardiologists. Within our three procedure labs, the RN provides care to patients undergoing elective and emergent invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role performs a variety of tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort including patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring, pre procedure preparation and administration of conscious sedation.In this critical role you will be part of a team which values teamwork and prioritizes quality patient care and patient safety above all.Minimum QualificationsEducation: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.Licensure: Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.Preferred Skills:Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred.Experience: 1-2 years of Acute care, ICU or Cardiac Telemetry experience preferred.Work Schedule:Per Diem shifts, 10-hour daysThis position requires On-Call - weekends/holiday rotationSaint Francis Hospital has been an anchor institution in Connecticut since 1897.
