Electrical Controls Engineer: Rockford, IL

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Electrical Controls Engineer to join our client’s growing engineering team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys hands-on problem-solving, and is passionate about developing reliable electrical and safety control systems.

Key  Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test electrical components, equipment, and control systems in accordance with company and customer specifications, utilizing engineering principles and CAD software
• Create and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Collaborate with engineers, customers, and vendors to identify project requirements, and select appropriate equipment and materials
• Provide technical support to internal and external customers 
• Coordinate engineering projects to meet quality, safety, budget, and timeline expectations

Skills & Experience :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent,  required
• Experience : 3+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in industrial an environment,  required
• Knowledge:  Ability to develop and interpret technical drawings and design modern safety control systems,   required
• Software:  SolidWorks Electrical and/or AutoCAD Electrical,   required

This role does not offer relocation assistance. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Rockford, IL.

Pay: $95,000 - $130,000/year, based on experience

Type: Full-time, 1st Shift, Onsite

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
