First impressions matter - and our Bell/Luggage Attendants help create welcoming, seamless arrivals and departures that set the tone for an exceptional guest stay.


As a Bell/Luggage Attendant, you'll assist guests with luggage, transportation support, hotel information, and personalized service while helping create memorable hospitality experiences from the moment guests arrive at the property.

What you'll be doing

What you'll be doing

• Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout their stay.
  
  

• Assist guests with luggage handling, baggage storage, deliveries, and transportation support during arrivals, departures, and room moves.
  
  

• Escort guests to guest rooms while providing information about hotel amenities, services, dining outlets, and local attractions.
  
  

• Support Front Office and guest service operations by assisting with guest requests, package deliveries, valet coordination, and lobby flow management.
  
  

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation standards across lobby areas, bell storage spaces, entrances, and guest-facing areas.
  
  

• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and service recovery situations to ensure guest satisfaction.
  
  

• Coordinate closely with Front Desk, Valet, Housekeeping, Engineering, and hotel leadership teams to support seamless guest experiences.
  
  

• Assist with group arrivals, VIP guests, conferences, weddings, and special event operations as needed.
  
  

• Safely handle guest belongings while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail at all times.
  
  

• Support hotel transportation operations, shuttle assistance, and directional guidance as needed.
  
  

• Help foster a welcoming, energetic, and guest-focused atmosphere aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
  
  

• Any other duties as assigned.
  
  

What great looks like

• Previous hospitality, hotel, guest service, valet, bell attendant, customer service, or retail experience preferred.
  
  

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
  
  

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  
  

• Strong attention to detail with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence.
  
  

• Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and hospitality service standards preferred.
  
  

• Valid driver's license preferred where applicable for hotel transportation or valet support.
  
  

• Positive attitude with a polished, outgoing, and service-focused presence.
  
  

• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and event support as needed.
  
  

• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, guest engagement, and creating memorable guest experiences.
  
  

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

Pay range $14.75 to 15.75 per hour. Pay rate outlined follows contract requirements.
