Job Description

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Proven ability in monitoring, assessment, and intervention for critically ill cardiac patients
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator support, and advanced cardiac life support protocols
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Adaptability and critical thinking in high-pressure situations

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with variable shifts available based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional, evidence-based nursing care to patients with complex cardiac conditions
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, manage advanced cardiac devices, and provide post-operative care for cardiovascular procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families about cardiac health, procedures, and post-care instructions
