Faculty Positions in Transplant and Cell Therapy

Our organization is actively seeking to fill faculty roles at various ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) within the Division of Transplant and Cell Therapy (TCT) and Hematological Malignancies. This is an exciting opportunity for clinical investigators, including those interested in leadership positions, to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for enthusiastic clinical investigators who are eager to establish a patient-centered academic and clinical research program. This role will involve close collaboration with our established basic and translational scientists.

• Primarily focus on clinical assignments while also developing, conducting, and participating in clinical trials.
• Engage in collaborative research related to blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy.
• Oversee residents, fellows, and mid-level providers during both outpatient and inpatient activities.

The TCT/Hematological Malignancies Division is dedicated to advancing novel therapies for hematological malignancies. This includes:

• Innovative agents and small molecule inhibitors.
• Immune therapies such as CAR-T, cell-based therapies, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and gene therapy.
• Autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for both malignant and non-malignant conditions.

Candidates can choose a specific focus on hematological diseases and treatment modalities based on their preferences.

This role is supported by a robust infrastructure, including:

• A dedicated Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit.
• Specialized clinic space and infusion centers.
• An inpatient unit and a new cGMP and TCT laboratory.
• A FACT-accredited TCT program for pediatric autologous and allogeneic BMT and immune effector cell therapy.
• A fully characterized tumor samples repository.
• A state-of-the-art Children’s Hospital building that opened in 2021, all located on the Medical School campus.

Established in 1905, our organization is home to the only Children’s Hospital in the Inland Empire of Southern California, providing specialized transplant and cell therapy services for children.

• MD or equivalent degree.
• Completion of fellowships in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology.
• Preferred completion of a TCT fellowship or equivalent experience.
• Board eligibility or certification in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology.

We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, with starting base compensation ranging from $200,000 to $500,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are subject to departmental compensation plans.
