AI Integration Engineer - Context Sources (MCP/Model Context Protocol)

Job Title: AI Integration Engineer Context Sources (MCP/ Model Context Protocol )
Location: Alpharetta (Onsite Required)

Type: Onsite

Role Summary
We are seeking an AI Integration Engineer to accelerate the integration of AI development tools with internal and external context sources using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related architectures.

This role focuses on enabling developers to leverage enterprise data context within AI tooling environments .

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement MCP-based integrations for AI development tools
Build and validate data pipelines connecting:
- Code repositories
- Wikis
- Ticketing systems
- Internal APIs
Ensure high-quality, relevant, and usable context for AI tools
Collaborate with security and data teams on:
- Access control
- Data classification
- Redaction policies
Evaluate and improve context retrieval and usability
Document integration patterns, configurations, and operational processes

Required Skills

2+ years of hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools
Strong programming skills in:
- Python and/or TypeScript (Node.js)
Experience building:
- Server-side integrations
- REST / GraphQL APIs (auth, pagination, rate limiting)
Working knowledge of:
- Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar context injection patterns
Familiarity with:
- Vector databases
- Embeddings
- Search/retrieval concepts (BM25, semantic search)
Ability to work onsite in Alpharetta, GA (mandatory)

Preferred Skills

Experience with:
- RAG architectures / hybrid retrieval systems
- Knowledge graphs
Exposure to:
- LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
Experience with enterprise tools:
- Confluence, SharePoint, Jira, GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket
Financial services domain experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
(or equivalent practical experience)
