About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years in Cath Lab License: State License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCIS (Preferred) Must-Have: - Experience with EPIC - Pre/Post Op Experience - Experience with patient diagnoses including AMI, STEMI, NSTEMI, EP devices, heart arrhythmias, PAD, PVD Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience and possess essential certifications and skills. This position offers normal business hours with call required. The schedule options include either four 9-hour shifts for a total of 36 hours per week or five 8-hour shifts for a total of 40 hours per week. Please specify the preferred shift when applying. Hours are from 7:00 AM or 7:45 AM, Monday through Friday, with one night call required each week and call every fourth weekend. Experience with specific equipment such as Impella, IABP, temp pacer, shockwave, DFR, IVUS, and FFR is highly regarded. Candidates should have experience with monitoring procedural sedation and the administration of emergency medications. The unit is designed for both diagnostic procedures and interventions, accommodating adult and geriatric patients. Interdisciplinary support from services such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy is available to enhance patient care. A priority is placed on infection prevention and the proper management of various cardiac procedures.
