Registered Nurse - Surge Unit Staffing
This position offers a Day 3x12-Hour shift from 07:00 to 19:00.
We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join our Surge Unit. The RN Traveler will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in various units, including ICU, Telemetry, and Med-Surg. Successful candidates will have the ability to float between these critical areas based on staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients, including those on ventilators and requiring continuous IV sedation.
- Monitor ICP and interpret dysrhythmias, managing them as needed.
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation.
- Start and maintain IVs effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with previous charge experience preferred.
- Experience with electronic charting systems, preferably Cerner.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
- Travel experience is required.
- Valid State License is required prior to submission.
