Customer Service Associate

The Customer Service Associate provides support for the Customer Service Supervisor and is responsible for the financial accountability of the store. This position supervises 10 to 20 cashiers at a time. The customer service associate maintains a positive company image through courteous and professional interactions.

Responsibilities include modeling and driving superior customer service, preparing, auditing, and reconciling all funds for daily retail operations, managing breaks and lunches for cashiers and support staff, running reports and auditing transactions, issuing correctives when code of conduct, performance, or policy issues are violated, addressing and correcting any financial procedure issues, training new cashiers, communicating with corporate partners and leadership, maintaining a neat, orderly, and professional front of store area, maintaining financial paperwork filing, placing service calls to appropriate personnel for register equipment, financial equipment, etc, and performing other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications include prior knowledge in bookkeeping, bank teller, retail management, or supervising experience preferred, passion for superior service and helping others, cheerful and positive attitude, consistency and reliability, ability to work a flexible schedule, ability to walk from one area to another frequently, standing required, ability to negotiate stairs, and ability to lift 25 lbs.

Required experience includes retail cash office experience.

Required education includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
