Groundskeeper - Full Time - Evansville

The Daughters of Charity Ministries is currently seeking a Groundskeeper to join our team. Do you enjoy stable, meaningful work with a great team? If so, the Daughters of Charity Ministries might be the perfect fit for you! The Groundskeeper provides complete lawn care service for a large intricately landscaped area. Mows and trims grass. Plants, trims, and maintains flower beds, shrubs, and trees. Performs routine maintenance and minor adjustments to vehicles and equipment. Certification/Licensure: Valid Indiana Driver's License. Experience: Two years of lawn care, landscaping, tree and shrub care experience is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to endure at least eight hours continuous work requiring physical demands including but not limited to standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, stretching, pushing, pulling and lifting. Must be able to work outdoors at least 80% of an eight-hour work day, as weather permits Must know how to operate and care for equipment, know how to measure insecticides and fertilizing solutions, and be alert to hazards. All job duties are expected to be completed in accordance with the mission and values of the Daughters of Charity.
