Product Manager - Merchandise Financial Planning

Insight Global's client is looking for a Product Manager to join their team to help with a large implementation of Anaplan for their Merchandising Financial Planning tool. On a day to day, the Product Manager will participate in typical product management responsibilities such as stakeholder management, grooming of stories, working with the engineering team. They will be responsible for prioritizing the features, managing the product backlog and overseeing Agile development sprints. The project plan is complete, functional design is done, they would really be managing the execution of it, using their domain knowledge, partnering with Anaplan to make sure things are moving.


The ideal candidate would have experience with top down and bottom up planning of merchandising. Understanding of the Gregorian calendar versus the holiday calendar, etc. An understanding of 4-5-4 retail calendar which is a widely used merchandising and financial planning tool in the retail industry. It helps retailers align financial reporting with seasonal shopping trends by structuring the fiscal year into 4-week, 5-week, and 4-week quarters.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-10 of Product Management Experience
- 5 years of Merchandise Financial Planning experience (Oracle, SAS, Anaplan, BlueYonder)
- Retail experience
- JIRA or ADO
- Assortment Optimization - if they know MFP they will know this.


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Anaplan experience- 2 -3 years of Anaplan experience
