Are you a skilled barber with a passion for delivering an exceptional service and experience for our guests? At Douglas J, we're looking for a barber who loves the art of the short haircut, straight razor hot shaves, and beard grooming. You'll be a key part of our team, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience and our barbershop operates smoothly.
What You'll Do:
- Provide a thorough consultation to assess your guest's ideal image
- Perform individualized services to achieve the guest's ideal cut or style
- Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
- Shape, trim, and cut guests hair, beard, and/or mustache with the guest's instructions or using current hairstyles and trends
- Stay informed of the latest trends, techniques, and styles for hair care and barbering
- Build relationships with guests and make pre-booking recommendations to attain guest retention
Who You Are:
- You have a State of Michigan Barber License
- You have a charismatic, approachable personality
- You have a personal drive to advance your skills
- You have experience working in a professional environment
- Have flexible availability to work Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays
