Teal Lake Assisted Living | Moberly, MO Salary: $65,000–$85,000 + Bonus Opportunities Overview Teal Lake Assisted Living is an award‑winning assisted living community. The position becomes available following the promotion of the current Executive Director. A stable, experienced team will provide support so the new leader can keep the community running at a high level of performance. What You’ll Do Lead with a resident‑first mindset, prioritizing compassionate care, safety and quality of life. Set clear expectations, model accountability and foster a positive, service‑oriented culture. Cultivate a culture of teamwork, transparency and open communication across all departments. Hire, train, coach and develop a high‑performing team of caregivers and support staff. Oversee medical, nursing and administrative functions to ensure smooth daily operations. Enforce policies and procedures that support high standards of care and regulatory compliance. Develop and manage the community budget, monitor expenses, revenue and occupancy. Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, revenue growth and operational improvement. Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families. Engage with the local community to promote the mission and strengthen the community’s reputation. Oversee building maintenance, improvements and equipment upgrades to ensure a safe, welcoming environment. What You Bring Current state Administrator licensure or certification as required by state regulations. Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Certified Medication Technician (CMT), if required by the state. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant fields may include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology or a related discipline. Must be at least 18 years of age. Proven experience successfully managing, leading and developing teams in a senior living or healthcare leadership role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with residents, families, team members and community partners. Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, medication management protocols and compliance standards. Physical Demands Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally assist with safely transferring residents. Vision requirements include near and far vision with good depth perception.
