Overview River Oaks Donuts, a family owned donut shop, opened its doors in 2013. The intention was to bring a local donut shop to the community offering an array of flavors. Since that first day River Oaks Donuts has become a well-known name in the community and a popular place for people to visit for some yummy early morning treats. River Oaks Donuts is a dynamic company known for its casual, team-oriented work environment. Responsibilities Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas. Restock displays of all products, dry goods, liquids, and paper goods. Restock, rotation and organization of all products throughout the shift. Maintain high level of standards in cleanliness of counter area, displays, lobby area, exterior, and parking lot throughout shift to include all surfaces, floors, windows, doors, and equipment. Accurate completion of all customer orders and packaging of products focusing on detail to ensure customer satisfaction and proper product presentation. Responsible for accurately ringing in all sales transactions in POS system, practicing proper cash handling techniques and assisting manager in closing daily sales. Maintain friendly, energetic, and accommodating personality to promote high levels of customer satisfaction throughout shift. Answer phones and follow policy in regards to large orders. Promotes teamwork among the staff. Respond to guest complaints by bringing them to the attention of the General Manager to ensure a positive experience. Supports company vision and mission. Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation. Ensure timely service to the guest. Greets guest entering establishment with friendly attitude. Safety And Sanitation Exceed industry standards in food handling, food safety, staff safety, and ensure compliance with all health department regulations. Practices food handling and general cleaning as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
