Summary The Asian Specialty Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Asian cuisine, ensuring consistency, presentation, and adherence to food safety standards. This role maintains kitchen operations, supports culinary staff, and delivers excellent guest dining experiences. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of Asian dishes according to recipes and quality standards. Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and plating of all menu items. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of workstations and kitchen equipment. Monitor food inventory and communicate supply needs to management. Follow food safety, hygiene, and regulatory guidelines at all times. Collaborate with culinary team to maintain consistent menu quality. Assist with training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff. Participate in menu development, recipe testing, and daily specials as needed. Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and standards of excellence. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience as a cook specializing in Asian cuisine preferred. Knowledge of traditional cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles. Ability to work in a fast‑paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
