Marketing Coordinator

Pearl Abyss America, Inc. - the team behind Black Desert and Crimson Desert as well as the upcoming titles DokeV and Plan8- is seeking a highly motivated, creative, results-oriented, and quality-obsessed Marketing Coordinator to help accelerate our gaming reach to millions of players across all platforms (PC and Console) in North America.

The video game industry is transforming how players are entertained, communicate with each other, and interact online on their digital devices. Our team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator with a strong interest in the gaming industry , especially MMORPGs and action-adventure games! LOCATION : Manhattan Beach, CA (on-site)

JOB TYPE : Full-time

PAY RANGE : $23 - $28 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop engaging marketing copy, slogans, and promotional messaging for campaigns across social media, websites, in-game promotions, and digital advertising.
• Prepare clear and detailed creative briefs for the content production team to support the development of marketing videos, banners, and visual assets.
• Contribute creative ideas for marketing visuals, trailers, and advertising materials designed to attract and engage players.
• Maintain a solid understanding of how advertisements are displayed across various platforms, including social media, in-game placements, and video channels, to ensure assets are properly formatted and optimized.
• Review marketing assets with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring all versions, dimensions, and deliverables are accurate, consistent, and error-free.
• Collaborate closely with graphic designers, video editors, and internal marketing team members, while also coordinating with external partners, influencers, and agencies to support campaign execution.
• Assist in the execution of User Acquisition (UA) campaigns by working with the team to optimize audience targeting, ad creatives, and budget allocation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in video game marketing OR bachelor's degree in media, public relations, marketing, or any related field experience
• Strong interest in the game industry, particularly in MMORPGs and action-adventure games
• Collaborative mindset and a strong team-oriented attitude
• Ability to think quickly and find creative solutions to challenges
• Basic understanding of how ads work across different platforms
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
• • Bilingual in English/Korean fluency is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Avid Black Desert player
• Basic knowledge of social media marketing, community engagement, or content creation
• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft 365, Google Docs, project management software, or marketing analytics platforms
• Experience in working with influencers, content creators, and agencies
• Ability to track and analyze marketing performance using tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.
