Job Overview Location: Oceanside, CA Pay Rate: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 am–4:00 pm or 8:00 am–5:00 pm Requirements 1–2 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Experience with ERP, MRP, or MRP II systems Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 quality systems preferred Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solver abilities Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments Experience in GMP or medical device manufacturing is a plus Job Duties Generate purchase orders and procure materials to support production schedules Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and on-time delivery metrics Update and maintain purchase order delivery dates to ensure accurate ETAs Review inventory reports and proactively address material shortages Coordinate new vendor setup and manage excess material disposition Confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and expedite orders when necessary Partner with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies Coordinate return and replacement of non-conforming materials with suppliers and Quality Assurance Analyze freight costs and transportation methods to identify cost-effective shipping solutions Maintain purchasing records and ensure compliance with company and ISO procedures Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions related to purchasing and supply chain issues Benefits Competitive weekly pay and full-time schedule Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Employee discounts and wellness programs Opportunities for career growth and advancement Staffmark is an equal opportunity employer.
