Job Title: IT Test Analyst IT Applications (SAP) Location: Columbus Ohio 43230 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Temporary Assignment Work Type: Hybrid(3 5 days a week onsite) Job Description The IT Test Analyst role will be part of the BBW QA Team, supporting testing activities in a cross-functional onshore/offshore model. The position reports to a QA Manager and requires oversight from a Test Lead. The analyst will be responsible for test preparation and execution activities within SAP applications, with a focus on SAP ECC and SAP CAR testing. Responsibilities Participate in functional and technical design reviews to ensure understanding of relevant business processes, technologies, and architectures. Create/modify test scenarios and test cases aligned with functional requirements. Ensure appropriate test data is available in the test environment. Execute and update test cases, including proof of testing. Document defects and retest fixes in a timely manner using test management tools. Communicate progress and status to Test Lead/Manager. Deliver high-quality work to meet application team and business partner needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in project environments. Assist in driving issues to closure. Complete assignments on time per priorities set by Test Lead. Skills / Qualifications Retail experience preferred. Hands-on testing experience with SAP ECC and SAP CAR. Knowledge of SAP inventory management processes (Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfers, Cycle Counting, Inventory Adjustments). Familiarity with SAP tables such as MARA, MARD, and MAKT. Understanding of SAP CAR integrations with SAP ECC, SAP BW, and POS systems. Experience with POSDTA and Inventory Visibility. Understanding of IDocs in data loads and ability to trace data flows across SAP and downstream apps. Knowledge of retail business processes (sales, returns, promotions, inventory availability). Ability to validate tables using SQL queries. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Iterative, Agile). Experience with onshore/offshore delivery models. Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, or similar test/defect management tools. Strong organizational, interpersonal, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effective in teams.
