Come Join Our Team as an Intake Specialist We are looking for individuals who are passionate about behavioral health. If you are interested in growth opportunities and making a difference in the lives of people in our community, this position is right for you. Schedule Days: Wednesday – Saturday. Hours: 4:00 pm – 2:00 am. Responsibilities Supports client arrival process, including initial assessment, searching client belongings for prohibited items, and orienting the client to the facility. Ensures required documentation/paperwork is completed and maintained. Liaises with client/family of potential admissions to address questions and concerns. Co‑ordinates facility tours with clients and families who are potential admissions. Interfaces with the remote admissions team and on‑site clinical team for necessary approvals. Establishes professional rapport with clients so they feel welcomed upon arrival. Coordinates assessment/bed placement, searches for prohibited items, and overall arrival process. Orients clients to the facility. Liaises with the direct care, nursing, and clinical team to ensure clients are set up with a treatment plan and schedule as needed. Ensures intake paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and documentation is maintained as required. May discuss a client’s financial responsibility and take payment as applicable. Provides exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards. Excellent communication and customer‑service skills, and ability to use required computer programs. Licenses / Designations / Certifications De‑escalation training, CPR and/or First‑Aid certification as required by facility.
