Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities The Assistant Property Manager acts as the operational support to our Property Management team. This role is responsible for ensuring administrative precision across our portfolio—from financial tracking to compliance and resident coordination. Daily tasks will include: Assist with collecting, processing, and tracking rent and utility payments Prepare essential paperwork for evictions and municipal rental inspections, ensuring all files are accurate and ready for Property Manager finalization Represent SPG Capital and the Property Management team at eviction hearings (*requires regular travel to courts) Actively participate in cross-training across other property management functions to ensure full-office coverage and a comprehensive understanding of portfolio operations Other duties as assigned Qualifications Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to travel to court hearings Experience in property management or a related customer-facing enforcement role Strong working knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws, eviction procedures, and court protocols, preferred Exceptional organizational skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced and team environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to think strategically and prioritize competing tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and the capability of learning new systems quickly #J-18808-Ljbffr
