Job Responsibilities Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture Works on multiple applications concurrently as part of a modernization program Manages requests from a problem statement and then develops a solution through to production and support with strong customer involvement and communication Mentoring junior employees and looking for improvements in all processes and developments Required Qualifications 10+ years applied experience Hands on experience coding in Java using Spring Boot, React, SQL ideally PostgresSQL Very strong communications and documentation skills. Ability to write Design Documents, Data Flows, User Guides, Presentations and deliver training Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security Understanding of Mainframe Hands on experience in developing Cloud ready applications for Cloud Foundry or any other industry standard Cloud platforms Proficient in developing & managing web application in Java Micro Services Architecture with Hibernate/JPA and JDBC EEO Statement LanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and an equal opportunity employer.
