About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Sal R Varano DDS PC as a Dental Billing / Front Desk professional! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing exceptional patient care while managing billing processes efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Records payments received from both insurance providers and patients.
• Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance eligibility.
• Submit necessary clinical documentation (x-rays, charting, and treatment notes) to insurance companies to approve coverage for major procedures.
• Match dental procedures with the correct alphanumeric CDT codes so insurance can accurately process the claim
• Reconcile patient ledgers, accounts for copayments, and calculate out-of-pocket balances after insurance payouts.
• Maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
• Handle patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with dental billing codes and insurance policies.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; dental office experience preferred.
• Proficient in dental billing software and basic office procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and claims processing.
• Positive attitude and a passion for patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented practice.
