Corporate Controller

We’re partnering with a venture-backed, high-growth medical device company in the that is approaching a pivotal IPO milestone. They are seeking a Corporate Controller to lead accounting and financial operations during this critical phase of scale.

This is a highly visible leadership role partnering directly with the executive team, with ownership over IPO readiness, SEC reporting, and building a best-in-class finance function in a fast-paced, pre-public environment.

The Opportunity

• Lead the company through IPO readiness and execution (S-1, audits, SEC reporting)
• Build and scale accounting infrastructure, policies, and internal controls (SOX)
• Partner closely with leadership, auditors, and bankers on public company preparation
• Own financial reporting, close process, and technical accounting
• Lead and develop a high-performing, lean accounting team
• Drive process improvements and systems optimization as the company scales

What You’ll Bring

• CPA (active or inactive) + Big 4 background strongly preferred
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership as a Controller or similar
• Proven IPO readiness or public company experience (SEC reporting, SOX, audits)
• Strong technical accounting expertise (revenue recognition, leases, inventory)
• Experience in MedTech, life sciences, or another regulated industry preferred
• Hands-on, builder mindset, comfortable operating both strategically and tactically
