About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to lead its in-house legal function. The successful candidate will be a strategic legal advisor to executive leadership, with a focus on legal strategy, operations, compliance, privacy, risk, corporate governance, and product and intellectual property. This role requires a hands-on approach, with the General Counsel expected to assess the company's legal and compliance posture, lead the legal team, and build and execute a scalable compliance program. The ideal candidate will have a strong in-house background at an international, B2B SaaS company, and a proven track record in driving legal and compliance improvements. Experience in sell-side SaaS contracting, and a deep understanding of legal issues related to AI and cybersecurity, are essential. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' legal experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, and a law degree with admission to the local governing body. The role demands a candidate with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, capable of providing responsive, business-oriented legal support across global teams. Experience in building real alignment with go-to-market, product, and marketing teams on legal and compliance priorities is a significant advantage.
