Registered Nurse - Endoscopy/GI

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre, intra, and post-procedure nursing care to endoscopy patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes or complications.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, including equipment setup and sterile techniques.
• Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately within electronic health records.
• Educate patients on procedures, post-care instructions, and answer questions to alleviate concerns.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience in a procedural or endoscopy nursing role.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Exhibit strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and patient-centered communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
