Location: Chanhassen, MN
Compensation: $30-35 per hour
Schedule: 6:00 am- 6:00 pm | 2-2-3 rotation | 12-hour shifts

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Production Maintenance Equipment Technician for a manufacturing company in Chanhassen, MN. In this role, you'll serve as a subject matter expert for production equipment, performing advanced maintenance, repairs, and rebuilds to support safety, quality, and production goals. What You'll Do as an Production Maintenance Equipment Technician:

• Perform complex repairs, rebuilds, and modifications on advanced production machinery
• Fabricate parts using machining equipment such as lathes, mills, welders, grinders, and drill presses
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical equipment issues independently
• Assist with installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment
• Collaborate with outside vendors and internal teams to resolve equipment defects
• Serve as a technical resource; train, coach, and mentor other team members
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out, and maintain a clean work area

What You Need to Bring to the Role:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent job-related experience required. Trade school education (1-2 years) preferred
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience on automated manufacturing equipment and industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical ability and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures)
• Strong math skills, including fractions and percentages
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts
• Comfortable working around loud noise and occasional outdoor conditions (PPE provided)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment, post-offer comprehensive assessment
