Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an ICU position requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience and a GA or Compact RN license. Requirements Active RN license (GA or Compact) required at time of consideration Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required Epic charting system experience required Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Skilled in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, arterial and central line care Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips Skilled in respiratory/thoracic care including BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilator management, and suctioning (ETT, NT) Knowledge of isolation precautions, PPE, and infection prevention protocols Responsibilities Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting Cares for critically ill patients with a 1:2-3 patient ratio Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15 Required to work every other weekend No on-call responsibilities Floating required within facility and scope of practice as needed Uses Epic charting system Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU patients, including cardiac, respiratory, and ventilator management Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, which must be finalized at time of consideration Holiday coverage required based on number of major holidays falling within the assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year s Eve/Day) First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted at the same rate Previous Piedmont Health employees (perm, per diem, or FCSS) must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler Travelers who cancel or receive a facility DNR must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Job ID: P-738449 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
