Cardiac Advanced Practice Provider - Acute Care Services - Weekends - Piedmont Fayette Piedmont Heart Institute (PHI) is recruiting for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Acute Care Services team at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital located in Fayetteville GA. This is a full-time weekend position. Overview This is a great opportunity to be employed by one of the nation's leading cardiology programs. You will work alongside some of the most respected and highly-trained physicians. Piedmont Heart Institute provides the full line of cardiovascular services with dedicated electrophysiology, transplant, advanced heart failure, critical care, interventional, surgical and research services. Responsibilities Assist in the evaluation and treatment of Cardiology patients in an inpatient setting Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations, and record the data in the patient’s record Write progress notes, consults, admissions, and discharge summaries Prepare patient workups Order and schedule diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients as direct patient care services are delivered Work alongside Physicians and other Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers in a collaborative team Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing required Masters degree in Nursing required Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State Composite Board required Licenses and Certifications ACLS upon hire required BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required Physician Assistant licensed in the State of Georgia, Updated NCCPA certification upon hire required ACNP - Acute Care Nurse Practitioner licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing (ACNP/FNP) in the State of Georgia upon hire required Piedmont Benefits Include Comprehensive compensation and benefits package CME allowance 401k match Business Unit: Piedmont Heart Institute Physicians #J-18808-Ljbffr Piedmont
