Financial ControllerLocation: Hollywood, Florida (onsite)Employment Type: PermanentAbout the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in the finance sector. In this role, you will contribute to overseeing the financial health of the organization, supporting financial strategy, maintaining regulatory compliance, and providing actionable financial insights that drive sustainable growth.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and execution of annual budgets, multi-year financial plans, and forecasting processes.Serve as a strategic advisor to the CFO and C-suite on financial performance, capital allocation, and risk.Identify opportunities to optimize financial performance and support growth initiatives.Oversee preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process.Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure to ensure the organization meets its financial obligations.Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment portfolios.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.Ensure compliance with all federal, county, and local tax regulations and filing requirements.Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization.Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team of 8–12 professionals.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.Define clear performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.CPA, CFA, or MBA (or equivalent advanced credential).10 years of progressive finance experience, including 4 years in a director or senior manager role.Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.Proven experience managing budgets in excess of $10M.Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).Preferred Qualifications (if any)Experience in a publicly traded company or private equity-backed environment.Familiarity with M&A due diligence and integration processes.Demonstrated success leading cross-functional finance transformation initiatives.Experience working with a manufacturing company.Who We AreSGF Global is an integrated talent solutions provider, offering staffing, recruitment, Employer of Record (EOR), nearshore, and consulting services across a wide range of industries in 35 countries.
