Essential Job Functions Assist customers in finding the right product that best suits their needs. Works with architects, designers, and builders to source the right product for their projects and provide them with timely quotes. Closes sales promptly while maintaining a high profit margin and delivering excellent customer service. Assist other team members with quotes and sourcing of products. Secures window orders and processes them correctly. Ensure that necessary changes or corrections are submitted in a timely fashion. Negotiates terms, pricing, and delivery with window vendors. Places window orders from approved vendors and maintains accurate records. Looks for opportunities to negotiate favorable purchasing terms. Arranges for the return and credit of defective products. Assist other associates with questions on products and orders. Adheres to company policies, processes, and procedures. Requirements Qualifications & Competencies A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Minimum of four years of experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above. Basic mathematical and measurement skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprint measurements. Experience with popular window brands, including Anderson and Marvin. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proactive planning and time management skills are required. Keen attention to detail. Ability to learn new systems and concepts quickly. Product knowledge and relationship-building skills. Working knowledge of the construction industry with window product knowledge and home building requirements. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Typical office environment, occasionally walking. Prolonged sitting (90% of the time). Ability to stare at a monitor for extended periods of time. Position Type and Expected Hours Full-time position.
