Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week Experience: 24 months of current psych/behavioral health experience required License: Active Iowa license or compact/multistate license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: - Experience working with geriatric patients required - Charge experience required - Epic experience required - De-escalation certificate preferred (can be obtained during onboarding) Description: The role involves working with patients experiencing psych and behavioral health issues. The unit has a bed size of 9 with patient ratios that can be up to 1:9. Nursing staff will be required to manage various patient types in a behavioral health setting. The position includes a holiday rotation and call responsibilities as needed. Candidates must have a professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the last 24 months.
