Common Man Roadside is hiring an Assistant General Manager for our Manchester store on South Willow Street. Come work for a great New Hampshire company in a fun, fast-paced environment! Pay rate: $60k annually.

The Assistant General Manager will assist the GM in directing all aspects of the store's daily operations. The right candidate will be an outstanding leader, setting the tone for their team by prioritizing guest experiences. Team building is essential in this role- not just through training and development, but also through recognizing hard work and potential of all team members. This is a working management role- our managers work on the line and prep food, offer hands-on training, guidance, and development of staff, and assist customers.

Duties include:

• Directing and overseeing FOH and BOH operations and production
• Opening and closing of daily paperwork, reporting, and logs
• Ordering and inventory management
• Write schedules according to budget
• Invoice processing
• Safety and sanitation audits
• Employee management including hiring, onboarding, scheduling, training, and development
• Financial acumen

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in retail management
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to obtain/maintain relevant certifications, including Underground Storage Tank Operator A/B and ServSafe
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, bend and reach
• Must be able to lift/carry packages up to 50 pounds
