Position Summary:

The Behavioral Health Therapist provides assessment, counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and therapeutic support to patients experiencing mental health, emotional, behavioral, or substance use concerns. This role works as part of an interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive behavioral health services. The Behavioral Health Therapist may provide individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient, inpatient, emergency, school-based, or integrated care setting. The therapist is responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation, supporting continuity of care, and helping patients develop coping skills, treatment goals, and plans for ongoing support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a behavioral health professional, such as LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent, depending on state requirements.
• Experience providing behavioral health assessments, counseling, or therapy services.
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and therapeutic techniques.
• Ability to assess safety risks and respond appropriately to crisis situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document in an electronic health record.
• Current, valid, and active driver's license required.
• Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a behavioral health professional, such as LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent, depending on state requirements
• BLS certification from a Vibra Travels' approved vendor required.
