Schedule/Shift

This position requires a midshift schedule with on-call requirements of 1 shift per week and 2 weekend shifts per month.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room will be responsible for providing quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in robotics, orthopedics, and neurology, and will be expected to participate actively in a teaching environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
• Assist with surgical procedures as needed.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Participate in training and educational activities for students and new staff.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required at the time of submission.
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start.
