About the Position

This Class B Driver position is located in N Chesterfld, Virginia, with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. You'll be home every night while hauling erosion control materials within the state of Virginia. This is a short-term need, but it could be extended based on business requirements. This is a TransForce driving opportunity, providing you with genuine support from our dedicated team.

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM

Job Details

Route Type: Local
Freight: Erosion control materials
Equipment: 28 ft flatbed and sit-down forklift
Handling: Unloading materials and ensuring they are properly secured

Key Responsibilities

Drive a 28 ft flatbed and operate a sit-down forklift.
Deliver materials on time as scheduled by your supervisor.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Unload materials and ensure they are properly secured and within weight limits.
Communicate with your supervisor throughout the day and assist in warehouse duties as necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL B
3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
Must be 21 years or older
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Experience operating a sit-down forklift
