Senior Banker – Commercial Real Estate U.S. Bank’s Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking Product Group offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior Banker to join its Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Team. Responsibilities The Senior Banker will be responsible for driving revenue growth by actively prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing client relationships. The role includes building trusted partnerships with developers, investors, high-net‑worth individuals/family offices, and institutional capital/funds by delivering tailored financial solutions that support clients’ long‑term objectives. The Senior Banker will originate large and complex commercial real estate transactions, including construction loans, bridge loans, permanent financing, and lines of credit, while maintaining overall portfolio credit quality. The candidate is expected to demonstrate sound credit judgment, proactively manage risk, and ensure adherence to bank policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Senior Banker will advise clients and prospects on a broad range of commercial banking products and ancillary services, identify cross‑sell opportunities, and make appropriate referrals to internal partners. The candidate will serve as a brand ambassador for U.S. Bank, representing the organization in the local market, building relationships with real‑estate professionals, and supporting the Bank’s visibility through industry engagement and events as applicable. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Five or more years of commercial real estate experience. Advanced knowledge and experience in commercial real estate loan origination and portfolio management. Understanding of commercial real estate credit and underwriting. Proven business development and strategic management skills. Experience with driving successful internal partnerships with deposit/treasury management and payment solutions, syndications, derivatives, wealth management, etc. Strong leadership and strategic management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Well‑developed analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills. Salesforce and nCino experience a plus. Location Expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week. Compensation The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
