Travel PCU Stepdown RN

Role: Travel Stepdown RN Responsibilities: Provide specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care, including monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, preparing equipment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, patient-centered care. Maintain patient safety, document assessments, respond to emergencies, and educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications. Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent Stepdown RN experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred: PCCN and NIHSS certifications. Must possess critical thinking, excellent communication, physical stamina, technical skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in English are essential. Key Duties: Monitor telemetry data, interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to emergencies, record patient conditions, and support patient education.
