Dental hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Job DescriptionPerform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental care.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in the management of patient appointments and follow-up care.
Monitor vital signs and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive patient care, including assisting during procedures when necessary.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and practices to enhance patient care.
Experience
Salary Rangepart-time $55 - $65 per hour
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & ScheduleSchedule (Alternate Weekly Rotation)
Monday - Thursday
Tuesday - Friday
7am to 7pm.
Requirements- Dentrix
- Eaglesoft
- Open Dental
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with dental software
Knowledge of anatomy, medical records management, medical imaging, and aseptic techniques is beneficial.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
