Job Overview
We are looking for an organized empathetic and professional New Patient Coordinatorto join our full-time administrative team. As the first point of contact for onboarding individuals you will play a critical role in managing clinic flow coordinating referrals and delivering an exceptional first impression for patients entering our care network.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Intake:Guide new patients through the registration process collect demographic information and coordinate initial medical histories.
- Referral & Insurance Management:Process incoming insurance data verify coverage benefits and manage medical referrals from external providers.
- Clinic Workflow Optimization:Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software to schedule appointments efficiently and optimize day-to-day patient data flow.
- Communication: Serve as a bridge between prospective patients referring physicians and our internal clinical staff to resolve scheduling or intake inquiries.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
- Prior experience in medical front-office coordination medical billing or intake administration.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and medical insurance verification workflows.
- Strong multitasking organizational and telephone communication skills.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Rate:$18.00 $20.00 per hour
