Position Title: Embroidery Operator
Starting Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 / hour, Commensurate with experience
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, In-Person
Bring our client's designs to life as the driving force behind our daily embroidery operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Embroidery Department as an Embroidery Operator. This hands-on role is vital to keeping production running smoothly while operating multi-head embroidery machines, monitoring stitch quality, and ensuring garments are decorated with care and precision.
Key Responsibilities & Duties – include, but are not limited to:
- Operate commercial embroidery equipment to decorate garments, hats, bags, and other promotional gear
- Read work orders, load correct threads, match bobbins, thread needles, adjust tension settings
- Hoop fabric securely
- Run multi-head embroidery machine, monitoring output
- Quality control – inspect finished items for stitching defects, color accuracy, alignment errors, and correct logo placement
- Troubleshooting minor machine issues
- Update work order in ERP Software
Qualifications:
- Prior multi-head commercial embroidery experience is preferred, but not required
- Reliable work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, often deadline-driven production environment
- Strong attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and a team-oriented attitude
- Must be able to lift to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
